Meet Our Team
Dr. Rebecca Scott, DVM
After a long career in several well established practices Dr. Rebecca Scott opened her now private clinic over ten years ago. She earned her veterinary degree at Washington State University in 1985. She first started her career as a small animal practitioner in Tacoma, Washington before moving to Portland in 1986.
She established the Overlook Veterinary Hospital in 1997 in the North Portland area. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has particular interests in senior animal health, renal disease, and thyroid disease.
Dr. Scott is a member of the Portland Veterinary Medical Association, Oregon Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
In her spare time, Dr, Scott enjoys playing with her cats, gardening, walking, and biking. Over the past few years has become active member in livening up the neighborhood atmosphere initiating the yearly Overlook Doggie Costume Contest. One of the very fun and social events that help bring the North Portland Neighbors together.
Brandon Neilly, BS, Certified Veterinary Technologist
I was born and raised in Portland. I graduated from North Dakota State University
with a Bachelors in Veterinary Technology in 2013 and moved back to Portland for my internship at OHSU.
I joined the Overlook team in 2015 and have found a great group of people to work with. I really enjoy
the small practice environment and the close relationships with the clients and their pets.
I am spoiled with two cats, an affectionate black cat
named Ares and my Bengal Osiris who is a permanent lap
warmer. In my free time I enjoy escaping into the
wilderness for a day hike, camping trip, or reading a good book.
My name is Kathy Ferguson, Practice Manager
I reside in N. Portland with my husband of 21 years, but I am originally from St. Helens, OR. I have 2 daughters and 1 son, and 3 grandchildren. Reba is our current dog, and lots of fun. I enjoy camping and spending time with family. I enjoy working with animals, and watching them grow with the families.

Sprite the Clinic Cat
Sprite was our wonderful clinic cat. While her personality was that of fine wine splashed with a dash of Attila the Hun, there were still many times when all she wanted was a hug, or to be petted.
Unfortunately Sprite passed away in summer of 2014.
